This is a blog for the Pacific Hope trip to Israel that twenty-something of us are taking. I hope to post daily pictures, stories, sermons, etc. from our travels through the Holy Land. As Kevin Malloy told me this morning (August 31st), it's 9 1/2 weeks away!

this is looking from the mt. of olives. the church in the foreground is right next to an olive garden that has trees over 2,000 years old! they are huge! The church is built around a rock where they say Luke 22:41 took place, where Jesus prayed and sweat blood.
